Launched under the full moon of Cinco de Mayo, 2023, MoonLite is an application that helps candle makers manage design and production processes in their workshop.
Kevin launched MoonLite to the candle making community to assist with the trickier parts of batch calculations and workshop organization. The main value MoonLite offers candle makers is a central place to design new candle recipes, auto-calculate batch supply requirements, and track the production status of any single candle from its initial pour to its fate as a tester or sale.
The application handles important math calculations for Cost of Goods sold and supply requirements in imperial and metric units for wax, fragrance oil, wicks, containers, and colors. It also offers limited inventory management for tracking suppliers and batch notes.
To date, artisan businesses have used MoonLite to produce over 20,000 candles.
